Parkside Rugby wishes to thank the following sponsors for their support of the team for Spring 2013! Please support those that support us!
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Menís Rugby Football Club is always looking to partner with local businesses to sponsor our Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. In the past, we've had sponsors ranging from Rustoleum to Metro Milwaukee Auto Auction to Murphy's Pub and Grill. In more recent years, we have partnered with Somers House Bar and Grill and The Ivanhoe Pub. We look forward to partnering with local Racine and Kenosha businesses for mutual gain at the increments described below. We recently purchased a new set of jersies in early 2013 so we are actively seeking new sponsors for the jersies.
SCRUM sponsorship ($1000) - Gets your company logo screen printed or embroidered 18" x 18" on the stomach of our new jersies plus advertisement at our annual Racine Harborfest tournament in mid-June, advertisement on our website, as well as every home game and any printed materials that would get printed up during the Fall 2011 season. (i.e., programs)
RUCK sponsorship ($500) - Gets your company logo screen printed or embroidered on our jersey sleeves or upper chest area as well as advertisement on our website and at home matches.
MAUL sponsorship ($300) - We will advertise your company at our annual Racine Harborfest tournament, on our website, as well as each home game and any printed materials that would get printed up during Spring or Fall of 2013. (i.e., programs)
LINEOUT sponsorship ($250) - Silent sponsorship. The gratification of helping a college team financially with buying new rugby balls and paying for gym space in the winter as well as having your companyís logo displayed on our website.
OVERTIME sponsorship (open for discussion) - We will gladly take coupons, food, or beverages.
All of these are open for discussion for unique partnership and advertising ideas.
All artwork and banners must be provided to be put on jerseys, to be hung up, and/or printed.
In Fall 2012, the Parkside Rugby Club purchased a new set of Canterbury rugby jersies for home matches and scrimmages. Murphy Chiropractic became the first major sponsor and their logo was put on the stomach of the jersey. DeRango's Restaurant and Sports Bar became RUCK sponsors and we're still looking to fill out the jersies with two more sponsors. It's great exposure for our sponsors at home matches and at the UW-Parkside campus, as our players often wear the jersies the day before matches at school as well as out in the community.
In Fall 2009, the Parkside Rugby Club purchased a new set of Canterbury rugby jersies for home matches and scrimmages. The Ivanhoe became the first major sponsor and their logo was put on the stomach of the jersey. W
In 2007, the Parkside Rugby Club fulfilled a need by purchasing an alternate set of Barbarian Pro-Fit style rugby jersies for home matches and scrimmages. As shown below, Somers House became a major sponsor and their logo was put on the stomach of the jersey. CJW and Nicholas Industries are also sponsors and had their logos attached to the front chest and back, respectively. It's great exposure for our sponsors at home matches and at the UW-Parkside campus, as our players often wear the jersies the day before matches at school as well as out in the community.
|In 2005, the Parkside Rugby Club modernized its set of jersies by ordering a set of state-of-the-art Barbarian Pro-Fit style rugby jersies which allowed the players to keep cool, even though they were competing hard and working up a mean sweat. The purchase of these jersies was partially made possible by the contributions of three major sponsors:
Somers House Bar
Murphy's Pub and Grill
Peck and Wise Heating and Cooling
Premier Lawns, Inc.
As shown by the pictures below and to the right, each one of these sponsors got their logo embroidered or printed on our jersies.
